Whether he’s advising a township on a zoning matter, representing a municipality in litigation or helping a business navigate a real estate dispute, Aaron is known for cutting through complexity, seeing the bigger picture, uncomplicating the complicated, and developing strategies that make sense in the real world.

As a partner at Isaac Wiles, Aaron has spent more than 20 years representing counties, municipalities, townships, public officials and private clients throughout Ohio. His practice includes municipal law, zoning and land use, annexation, real estate taxation, public records, commercial litigation and other matters where legal issues intersect with business, development and government.

His perspective extends well beyond the courtroom. Aaron currently serves as Vice Chair of Westerville City Council, where he has been a council member since 2024. A lifelong Westerville resident, he previously served on the City’s Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals, giving him firsthand insight into how local governments make decisions, how development projects move forward and the challenges communities, businesses and property owners face along the way.

Aaron also serves as an adjunct professor at Columbus State Community College and regularly writes and speaks on municipal law topics, including land banks, public records, annexation and First Amendment issues affecting law enforcement.
