About Kelli N. Lady

Kelli Lady began the Office Services Department at Wiles Boyle in 2002. After graduating from The Ohio State University in 2004, with degrees in Criminology and Economics, she realized how much she enjoyed the legal aspect of the justice system and began working as a legal assistant in the litigation and public law groups. In 2013, she took it one step further and moved into a paralegal position.

Kelli still enjoys public law and litigation, specifically public records, investigations, and discovery. Much of the litigation work where Kelli assists involves defending political subdivisions, its officials, employees, police officers, and firefighters. She also has experience in commercial litigation, including auto-accident, premises liability, product defect, and construction insurance defense. In 2020, she assisted with, and attended, a four-day jury trial, which resulted in a defense verdict after only 45 minutes of jury deliberation.

Kelli also enjoys criminal prosecution. She has spent nearly 15 years assisting with prosecution cases in several counties across Ohio. She previously assisted with preparation for a rigorous voir dire selection on a high-profile death penalty case. And, in 2021, she assisted with, and attended, a felony jury trial where, after only 30 minutes, the jury delivered a guilty verdict on a child-sex charge.

In her spare time, Kelli takes courses and attends seminars to better assist domestic violence victims, and continues working toward a certification in e-discovery. When she isn’t focusing on work, Kelli enjoys spending time with her cats, and traveling. She is an avid soccer fan, and music enthusiast.
