With more than a decade of experience across estate planning, business, and family law, Chad Fritz brings a competitive get-it-done mindset to every client relationship. He grew up in a family business and learned early that outworking the competition is the strategy. He has carried that entrepreneurial spirit into the practice of law: move fast, know the details, and help get clients the outcome they hope for.

Estate planning isn’t one-size-fits-all, and Chad’s approach reflects that. He helps clients evaluate their options, understand the tradeoffs, and put the right legal tools in place for their specific situation. His work includes wills, trusts, powers of attorney, tax planning, asset protection, Medicaid and long-term care planning, and more sophisticated wealth transfer strategies. Chad frequently collaborates with financial advisors and CPAs to create plans that fit into the bigger picture rather than addressing one issue in isolation.

The same competitive instinct carries into his work with business owners. Chad advises clients on entity formation, ownership, succession planning, and the practical legal issues that come with running a company. It is counsel built around one goal of keeping the business, and the client, ahead.

Early in his career, Chad represented Union County Job and Family Services as a child support attorney, advocating for children and families through often challenging situations. The role strengthened his ability to connect with people from all walks of life, explain complex issues in a relatable way, and focus on finding solutions rather than obstacles, qualities that continue to define his approach to estate planning today.

Chad received his law degree from Ohio Northern University College of Law where he held positions as a Research Assistant, Teaching Fellow, and Law Review Board Member. In Chad’s undergraduate years at Robert Morris University, he honed his teamwork and leadership skills on the ice as a D1 and D3 hockey player and served as an Assistant Captain.

Outside the office, Chad enjoys spending time with his family, playing in an adult hockey league, and adding to his watch collection. Whether he’s helping a client, tackling a project at home, or lacing up his skates, he’s also known to be the go-to guy for getting his hands dirty to get the job done—a work ethic he learned in the family business and on the ice.
