Believing that practicing law is a privilege, Stephanie uses it to help others navigate the process as seamlessly as possible, through what may be a very difficult time in their lives. Understanding that family law issues can turn one’s world upside down, her partnership, attention and responsiveness give clients a sense of control.
Approaching each client’s unique story with genuine curiosity, Stephanie spends considerable time up front giving guidance and explanation so clients can navigate the best path forward and acquire the tools they need to begin the next chapter of their lives successfully. Her interest in helping families was inspired through a positive family experience when working with a lawyer after her grandparents passed. That attorney’s compassion and commitment to the family gave Stephanie a good perspective on working with families in delicate situations.
Stephanie received her law degree from Ohio Northern University where she held positions as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, and was on the Moot Court Executive Board and a member of the National Trial League Team. She also was an accepted candidate in the OSBA Rural Clerkship Program, which piqued her interest and jump started her career in family law. In her undergraduate years at Capital University, Stephanie was on the Varsity Softball Team and recognized as Academic All-American, and earned an OAC Academic Team recognition.
When she’s not working, Stephanie is an avid cook, and enjoys spending time with her husband and dog Spenser, hiking and anything outdoors. With her collegiate softball background, she is known to be a dependable and fierce competitive teammate.
