COLUMBUS, OHIO (October 8, 2025) – Isaac Wiles, a full-service law firm in Columbus, Ohio, is pleased to announce the addition of Beth Johnson as its new Law Firm Administrator. She will assume the duties of current Chief Executive Officer Robert Sander upon his retirement at the end of this year.
Sander, who became CEO of Isaac Wiles in 2013, has been a key player in the firm’s recent years of strategic growth and expansion. A Cincinnati native, Sander is responsible for business development strategy, revenue generation and development planning, and overseeing all firm operations.
Those duties will fall next to Johnson, who comes to Isaac Wiles with more than 25 years of law firm administration experience.
“Isaac Wiles has benefitted greatly from Rob’s leadership over the last decade-plus, making his upcoming retirement bittersweet for all of us,” said Brian Zets, managing partner of Isaac Wiles. “At the same time, and with Rob’s help, we identified and hired an outstanding administrator in Beth.”
Sander took over as CEO in May 2013 following the merger of two Columbus-based law firms, firms Isaac, Brant, Ledman & Teetor and Wiles, Boyle, Burkholder & Bringardner. Before that, he was Administrator for more than a decade for Wiles, Boyle.
As CEO, Sander not only leads the firm’s administrative team, but spearheads many internal firm committees, with goals of improved and continued cohesiveness, communication, and progression. He has helped keep the law firm on the cusp of the industry by pushing new technology, accounting practices, and staff development and training.
“I’m proud of the growth Isaac Wiles has experienced over the years and extremely grateful for the trust the firm’s partners placed in me,” said Sander. “While I look forward to enjoying retirement and watching from afar as Beth takes over my administrative duties, I will greatly miss all of the amazing people at Isaac Wiles.”
Johnson, an Ohio State University graduate, is experienced in leading firms through change while building cohesive teams and fostering a collaborative firm culture that aligns with organizational objectives. She is a member of the national chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators as well as the Columbus chapter, where she is vice president of the board of directors.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Isaac Wiles and its talented attorneys and staff,” said Johnson. “My goal is to make sure the law firm stays at the forefront of industry innovation and continually advances.”
