about Katie Markijohn
Katie is an associate in the firm’s public litigation group. Prior to joining Isaac Wiles, Katie worked as a staff attorney at the Ohio Court of Claims where she wrote judicial decisions for cases involving medical malpractice, employment discrimination, class action, breach of contract, personal injury, and Victims of Crime cases. Katie also has experience mediating public records disputes. Katie thrives on the problem-solving aspects of litigation.
While attending Capital University Law School, Katie was a staff writer for the Capital University Law Review where her Comment regarding the applicability of Ohio’s statutory damage caps to an employment discrimination claim was published. Katie also was awarded the CALI Award for Contracts I, Contracts II, and Secured Transactions.
Outside of the firm, Katie enjoys hiking and spending time with her family and pug, Phil. She is also an avid runner and workout enthusiast.
