about Justin Magana
Having worked in a variety of Fortune 500 companies where he learned the value of continually being innovative and reaching agreeable conclusions, Justin Magana met his match as a lawyer who’s passionate about directly impacting the community and helping grow Ohio’s businesses. Justin practices in the firm’s Business and Real Estate Groups and focuses on general corporate and commercial real estate matters, including managing the due diligence phase of transactions, counseling clients on entity formation, and representing landlords and tenants on leases. Justin also works frequently with businesses in the hospitality and restaurant industries to acquire and sell liquor permits and other related assets unique to the industry.
A graduate of Capital University Law School, Justin received the Ambassador Award for being a graduating student who promoted Capital’s mission, value and spirit. While at Capital, Justin was the President of the Hispanic Law Student Association, as well as a founding member of the Capital Law School Dean’s Advisory Council on Inclusion, Diversity and Equity. As founder and host of the Capital Law School Podcast, this podcast has consistently ranked high among legal podcasts and is now a valued program of the university.
An avid outdoorsman, Justin enjoys escaping the rigors of law by hiking and camping and balances his outdoor life in either the weight room or the kitchen as a self-taught chef.
