Named one of Ohio’s Rising Stars, Brandon’s laid-back nature masks his fiercely competitive, “whatever it takes” attitude.

Known for ferociously tackling complex cases, Brandon revels in the setting of strategy and the challenge of problem solving to please his clients, focusing his practice on civil litigation, workers’ compensation and data breach/privacy.

Brandon is in charge of the firm's workers' compensation group. He assists both private employers and state entities in navigating this system, and has represented clients in all phases of the process, from administrative hearings to appeals.

Brandon has defended trucking companies in cases arising from catastrophic accidents involving multiple fatalities, and is involved in the firm’s litigation sub-specialty of construction where he works with residential and commercial builders. He also serves as private counsel for auto dealerships.

Brandon also spearheads the firm’s data breach/privacy concerns, and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/U.S. (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professional (IAPP).

  • Obtained a favorable resolution for an EIFS subcontractor against claims of over $8,000,000 in damages to a 500 unit multi-building apartment complex. The claims were part of a larger lawsuit with alleged damages exceeding $40,000,000 against all defendants;
  • Summary judgment granted in favor of a contractor on a large mixed use commercial development from claims of loss of lateral support;
  • Summary judgment granted in favor of a helicopter repair facility from claims of negligent misrepresentation;
  • Summary judgment granted in favor of a tenant in a commercial real estate lease dispute;
  • Summary judgment obtained in favor of a Fortune 500 company in enforcement  of oil and gas contracts;
  • Summary judgment obtained on behalf of a company facing anti-trust claims of over $500,000,000 in damages.
